The Difference between Committing and Dabbling
When you go to set a goal, do you know what it takes to really decide and commit?
Three factors that are very important when setting a goal are:
- Accountability Factor: Tell people about your goal! Proclaiming it to other people will immediately help you stay accountable to yourself along with the other people you’ve shared with. And I’m not talking just the people at your lunch table. I’m talking about like-minded women who will support you and cheer you on in your effort!
- Planning: Make a serious plan for your goal. You need a realistic game plan that will take you from where you are now to where you want to be. Stop being a weekend saboteur and learn how to live a maintainable, fit lifestyle.
- Set a Deadline: By when will you accomplish your goal? How will you FEEL and how will you CELEBRATE when you hit this deadline?!
Follow the three points above to get out of the dabbling rut, feel a higher level of commitment, and a lower level of stress!
