How many times have you not done something because you felt you couldn’t do it well enough, or didn’t have enough time? So you just keep waiting until the “right time,” which inevitably never comes. Thoughts like, “I don’t have enough time for a ‘good’ workout,” or “well I’ve already ‘messed up’ my eating plan so I’ll eat whatever for the rest of the day and start over tomorrow,” are toxic to your success.
The smallest efforts end up having the biggest results over time. For example, you have a crazy busy week, but instead forgoing your workouts, you find a way to squeeze in a quick 20 minute at-home workout before you head to work – it feels so good to start the day like that and check it off your to-do list anyway, right?!
Or plan ahead and boil a dozen eggs while you are prepping dinner for easy-to-grab, quick snacks – you’re already in the kitchen – Might as well!
These simple to do things will make a huge impact. And all it takes is a small shift in your thinking about obstacles.
Small changes add up and will begin to create momentum toward better consistency in the long run. This is what leads to significant growth and achieving your goals.
